Hi I'm Carl, I am a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am passionate about road safety.
A while ago I attended a course about "calming the anxious mind" and I joined their private Facebook page. The group continually inspires me helping me with a positive mindset and learning me new methods and ideas to generate a healthy wellbeing and for me to then be able to share what I learn with others.
Did you realise that the majority of people spend less than half of their time thinking about the present moment?
For your mind to be in the very present moment can be so beneficial and important for you for many different reasons.
Did you realise that for the majority of time most people are more than often thinking about the passed or the future?
Most anxious thoughts and negative feelings will generally be generated from thoughts of either the passed or the future.
When reflecting performance most people will reflect and remember on what didn't go so well rather than what did go well and the feelings from that will follow.
Feelings stay with you until that thought is changed.
Put those thoughts and feelings into driving.
What type of mindset and feelings would you like to have whilst you are learning to drive and how would you like to feel about your driving once you have passed your test, when you are driving by yourself or in a vehicle with family and friends?
Would you like a calm positive mindset during your time driving?
Would you like to overcome any worries and anxieties that you may have about driving?
A successful positive life is all about having a positive mindset and self belief.
I have learnt and continue to learn how important our mindset is to influence happiness and to enable us to successfully learn well.
